Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Yesterday I revisited Elton John's 17 - 11 - 70 after decades of neglect. I had forgotten just how good an album it is, and as a result, @Gurn Blanston pointed me to:

Gurn is wise. For my money, Tumbleweed Connection is Elton's very best album.
