More roots: The Duck Creek Quartet: Just got to Heaven (Golden Shoes)

"The Duck Creek Quartet hail from Sneedville, Tennessee. They began their singing career almost thirty years ago and have become widely known in these parts through their humble, soul-stirring singing. They are all active in church work. In the past fifteen years, they have averaged singing for one funeral each week. Wherever God's work needs to be done you will find the Duck Creek Quartet readily available ."

Romanian Hardcore Punk: Critica Radicala's So Mai Cares (split w/ Czolgosz) - Quite melodic.

"Critica Radicala was an important political punk band born out of the ashes of Terror Art when they were beginning to fall apart. The beginnings were when George and Dan were in the punk band Terror Art (as founding members) and things were going from bad to worse. Since then the two friends were talking about a separate project that would send a more direct and authentic message. At the same time Ely, another member of the punk movement, wanted to form another band. Ely found support in George (ex Terror Art guitarist) who, having left Terror Art, started a new project in 2002 with a former member of another punk-rock band called Foarfeka, Alex, in which George played guitar and vocals and Alex did bass and processing. Initially, in the spring of 2002, Ely formed V33, which did not include George's project with Alex, but included current Radical Criticism drummer Edi, who had previously played in the hardcore-punk band Proteum. Then George joined Ely's band as bassist and soon the two bands (V33 and George's project with Alex) would become one: Radical Criticism. After V33's vocalist Vali left the new band, the project George and Alex had set up years ago was completed with the arrival of Dan (former Terror Art vocalist) as vocalist in the new band."

More Romanian Punk: ProteX's Am Muiere Sanatoasa (loving this scene, it is so melodic - great hymns, very danceable)

"Punk band from Cluj, founded in 1993. They made their first appearance at a traditional festival the following year, at Samrock '94, followed by a series of concerts across the country."

Why YouTube can never be "fully" evil: a literal home-video production (1988) of the Come Alive Singers:

This is so 1980s. The hair! A Geraldine Ferraro reference (eat your heart out Family Guy)! 8)

Ian Hill The Ramblings had made a video about 10cc's album Sheet Music. He recommended this album and the next one for exploring 10cc. So, I listened the second album and now I am listening to the third one The Original Soundtrack. The music on these albums is okay (little too "gimmicky" perhaps), but not good enough to impress me. I happen to have the hit song I'm Not In Love on a compilation CD and that seems to be all 10cc I ever need.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

I've been listening to a lot of Dolly Parton and Sabrina Carpenter. And then amazingly this dropped yesterday! A collab between the two!
