Not my favorite JP album, but gets the job done on a workout.

I'm allergic to covers like these, so I never get around to listening to the music.

If you like to not only be mightily rocked, but entertained with sci-fi lyrical themes, then get over the cover and crank this.

The only metal album I still don't appreciate is Crimson Massacre- The Luster of Pandemonium

(Well rock 'n' roll wasn't born in 2004, but that's when this beautifully mastered set came out)

Who mastered it?

From the guy I just bought it off (Laservampire at sh.tv):  "Kevan Budd has done quite a few recent Elvis reissues (first 3 albums), but I've never seen his name on anything else."

It's very impressive.  No compression that I can detect, no NR, good EQ.  Original master tapes.  Perhaps a slightly sterile processed feel to it, but overall, excellent!

Ripped half of this at work today and plan to finish the job later in the week. Lovely music to counterbalance that Spring restlessness and irritability.

There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz

This Was Jethro Tull

Of the three pre-Aqualung albums I only have Benefit (which is fantastic), but I'm on the trail of the others.  They were quite a different sounding band back then.

So they were, and Benefit is indeed a goode blast  8)

I don't have the cd reissue of Stand Up, but not for any particular reason . . . half of the tracks, I have on a couple of compilation discs.
