Believe me, they have. And I'm sure it does...for them.

Yeah, I'm not that fond of the first two myself.

I started with Greatest Hits and ANATO (my Dad had the 8 track of the latter and the former was my very first LP) and it took me years and years to even buy the rest of their stuff and years more to begin to enjoy them as albums. Perhaps more years will reveal more about the early Queen stuff, who knows? Definitely some gems there, but only Queen I has got me coming back for more - so far.

George, you might not like me anymore after this, but my favorite song ever by Queen is probaly that gorgeous "Live Forever" track from "Highlander". In fact, it's the only indispensable Queen to me.

Great avatar!

Thanks.

Not like you anymore? Bite your tongue! :)

I am listening this now from the A Kind of Magic CD and it is moving indeed. I love the line "Our Forever is Today." This one was written by May, who wrote a lot of their great songs including "All Dead" from News of the World. Have you heard that one?

Found this list of May's Queen compositions: http://www.brianmayworld.com/Queen_songs.htm

This album has a nice combination of balladlike and swinging/grooving tracks.
