Cheers. I would also throw Catch Bull at Four into that little pile.

Same here.  :)

These reconstructions of Gershwin shows with original orchestrations and all of the songs are fantastic.  I bought five of them when they first came out; not sure if they've done more, but Nonesuch did a great service with this project.

What I have:

Oh, Kay
Girl Crazy
Pardon My English
Strike Up the Band
Lady Be Good

I think only now am I starting to realize how great Cannibal Corpse is.

It just has the "it" factor. It's just more interesting, and more of a "hook" than what my previous impressions were. The more I listen, the more I enjoy and find little bits of interest here and there.

The afternoon requires some blues....

The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.

"Sunny Afternoon" is one of Ray Davies's best songs.

I could not but agree with that. "Sunny Afternoon", "Waterloo Sunset" and "Days" are probably my favourites.

Lots of classic Stones today, listened to pretty much everything from 1963 - 65...

I'd never heard of that one, like the late 60s stuff though.
