Dylan Thomas reading Dylan Thomas

I was looking for some of that a few months ago.  I put the Caedmon Collection on my wish list but never moved it to my cart.  Maybe I would if it were an LP.   ;)

Also, Blood on the Tracks is not Bob Dylan's best album, nor his most important.

Just tonight heard an interview with Alex Ross (on the Conversations With Tyler podcast). Mostly its about his new book on Wagner, but at one point he's asked what his favorite Dylan album is and he says Blood On The Tracks - but then specifies the "New York sessions", saying its the best pop/rock album period.

Also: his favorite recording of the Ring is the 1955 Beyruth from Joseph Keilberth on Testament.

Yeah, well, I wasn't going to read his book, either.   ;)

If you don't know Chris Connor's singing, it is the portrait of cool.

That cover art could be straight from a J-horror movie!  ???
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Vangelis: China

I have always liked this one. It is both quirky and atmospheric.

The Celtic Viol II [Savall/King]

More traditional Irish and Scottish tunes played by Savall and King. However, on this CD Savall sometimes plays a lyra [bass] viol and, for me, this music just does not work on this instrument.

Yes, agreed.
