Pohjolas Daughter

Remembered this morning that Adele's new single was to be released in the UK today and so watched the video on youtube.  Really enjoyed it....very moving and liked how they videoed it.  It's here if you're curious:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3ASj1L6_sY

Fell down the rabbit whole for a bit longer and stumbled across a video of Stevie Nicks, Bob Welch, Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie performing Gold Dust Woman in the early 1980's at The Roxy.  Great live version of the song though the video is rather grainy and indistinct at times.  Still well worth watching though in my opinion.  It's here if you want to give it a listen.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXrb0DU4ko4

Protocol free! However, on Thursday we are in Liverpool hearing Sibelius 5, and we have to prove our vaccination status for that.

The new erato

But why should that be neccessary? In case of cryptic covers it is better to make the efgort of typing a few letter.

What did you think of this work erato?  I hadn't heard of it before now.

The new erato

This is a very good recording with fine singers (not always the case in recordings of musicals).  Some very fine and reasonably well known songs (A Fellow Needs A Girl, What A Lovely Day For A Wedding).

I find Rodgers own quote quite to the point; "Of all the musicals I ever worked on that didn't quite succeed, Allegro is one I think most worthy of a second chance".
