I can only think of two bands where I have loved every song they have ever done: Electric Youth and the White Stripes (who I am listening to right now):

Lol, even. I like Holly, and I love anytime I hear Meg.

Mister Sharpe

Is anyone planning on purchasing the new Nick Drake set "The Making of Five Leaves Left"? Just curious. Seems worthwhile to me.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Making_of_Five_Leaves_Left

Interesting, because I am yet to hear even one song by the White Stripes I like.  ???
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Hmmm. Are you sure you are listening to them with open ears?

Roger Waters: This Is Not A Drill (Live From Prague May 2023) was, sadly, a profound disappointment. Slow, joyless, and steeped in politics, it felt less like a concert than a two-and-a-half-hour harangue. The atmosphere was leaden, the spark he once possessed now quite vanished without trace. Classic Pink Floyd pieces were rendered in limp, muted arrangements that drained them of their former vitality.

He has, it seems, drifted into performing a tribute act to himself, a self-congratulatory exercise entirely bereft of irony. What remains is an elderly, rather tiresome figure, endlessly applauding his own legend while the audience wonders when, exactly, the magic slipped away.

For the record, my disappointment has nothing to do with the fact that his public position at the outset of Russia's war in Ukraine was both stupid and offensive. I have always had a fondness for him, and that has not changed. But one must be honest: all good things come to an end, and this one has ended in a most regrettable fashion.

Might have found where the best production values might be: Bill Withers's Naked & Warm

Needed to listen to something evil:

Carpathian Forest's Black Shining Leather; Celtic Frost's Monotheist; Behemoth's The Satanist

Needed a bit more evil: >:D

Dodheimsgard's Monumental Possession; Watain's Rabid Death's Curse; Deicide's Banished By Sin

Even with open mind I believe. Tell me what do you like about their music?

Honestly, I can't think of a thing I don't like. I love their lo-fi, distorted garage-style. I love the "no waveness" of Meg's drumming. I like their playfulness and humor, while also being able to rock out (Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground just has such raw energy, raw power - gets my heart pumping). I also like that the band is one large affectation - their outside, surface was a gimmick, but in their hearts, and I think you can hear this - they are 100 percent American blues/roots.

Yes indeed, and whatever I've seen them do, they always just seem like they're still a brother and sister having a laugh making music at home. A fantastically fresh quality and a great example of less is more.

Exactly, and they always seems to have so much fun when they are playing (I love how they both get lost in the music - like they aren't playing for us; they are playing for themselves - I love that kind of absorption). I also like how each allowed the other to be who they were (they really did seem like brother and sister with how protective they were of each other).

Right now: Noise Trail Immersion's Tutta la Morte in un solo punto

Holy snikes is this heavy! (reminds me of Incantation, as it so heavy it hurts to listen to with headphones on) 8)

San Antone

I always really liked Stevie Ray Vaughan but liked his older brother's sound a little better.
