Feeling middle-agey and whitish, so I tapped into that -core:

The Gin Blossoms
Goo Goo Dolls
Third Eye Blind
Counting Crows
Matchbox 20
Live
Vertical Horizon

This was Copilot's description of Vertical Horizon, lol.

"Vertical Horizon is like the distilled essence of that whole vibe — earnest vocals, jangly guitars, and lyrics that sound like they were written during a long drive after a breakup. "Everything You Want" is basically the national anthem of guys who peaked emotionally in 1999."

Copilot sounds like it could be very useful for telling me what I don't want to hear 😹.

First time hearing Beehive Cathedral, a trio exploring traditional Appalachian music, among other genres, but they are pushing all of it further. Great work on fiddles, banjo, pump organ, and harmonica.

Couldn't be there in person for this concert last night, but thankfully it was recorded (two parts below). Here's an appreciation of their 2024 album.

Last night watched the documentary on the making of the Darkness On The Edge Of Town album. Today played the album (which I hardly ever play) and, for the first time, the 2cd set of outtakes from those sessions.
