First time hearing Beehive Cathedral, a trio exploring traditional Appalachian music, among other genres, but they are pushing all of it further. Great work on fiddles, banjo, pump organ, and harmonica.

Couldn't be there in person for this concert last night, but thankfully it was recorded (two parts below). Here's an appreciation of their 2024 album.

Last night watched the documentary on the making of the Darkness On The Edge Of Town album. Today played the album (which I hardly ever play) and, for the first time, the 2cd set of outtakes from those sessions.

The new edition of the classic Rolling Stones album dropped today. Sound's rather intriguing, mind; loads cleaned up compared to those old vinyl-to-CD transfers. Instruments and vocals come through clearer, take Harvey Mandel's guitar on the opener Hot Stuff, for instance. All in all, I listened with considerable pleasure; one of my favourite albums by RS now sounds even better. Haven't got round to the second disc with the extras yet.
