Rhino is a GREAT label.  They have put out some excellent discs.  Another that comes to mind s the Sundazed label, Sarge.  Check them out here:

I have a ton of Rhinos but also a handful of Sundazed discs: The Toys, The Buckinghams, and a compilation CD of obscure garage/psychedelic rock bands from Texas.

Exactly what I was talking about.  Just some stinking cool stuff on those labels.

'The Story of Light', a solo album of original material by virtuoso guitarist and visionary composer Steve Vai. The title comes out on Favored Nations Entertainment, the label Vai founded in 1999. Its sprawling and expressive 12-song set continues a conceptual and cosmic narrative arc begun on the artist's acclaimed 2005 album 'Real Illusions: Reflections'. Throughout, three-time Grammy winner Vai's lead guitar is as lyrically resonant as it is technically masterful, his licks and solos bending sounds and in listeners' minds in equal measure. 'The Story of Light' follows the journey of a man driven mad by grief, intertwining tragedy, revelation, enlightenment, and redemption. 'I m always pursuing knowledge. I'm a seeker of spiritual equilibrium and music is a big part of that,' says Vai. 'I've been obsessed with these kinds of ideas for years.' (Amazon.com)

Kinda busy lately :o - anyway I still listened to a lot of stuff as usual :).
This evening:

Over the years I have sold a lot of CD's and LP's in times of financial hardship - one of my goals the last couple of years has been to collect all the albums I sold so that my collection is complete. Its taken a while but I have achieved that goal I think.
I had this Peter Gabriel live album on LP when I was a kid - its not PG's best album but it has some nice stuff on it. For instance I think the version of Humdrum here is superior to the album version. This isn't really a hard to come by album but in its current incarnation its only 1 Disc instead of 2. I managed to get a copy of the 2CD version with the complete concerts just like the LP(s) I used to own.
I am very pleased with this album :)

^Strange that Plays Live doesn't have "Lay Your Hands On Me", but maybe they felt it needed the visual element to do it justice.

I just had to go and watch again the performance of that song from the P.O.V. concert film:
