I received, then sent a message that contained Cyrillic characters on a Yahoo Mail account. Immediately afterwards I was required to change my password, and subsequently I was forbidden to send any email at all. Any email I sent bounced with a return message "Error code 475: Suspicious activity was detected on your account" After I posted a complaint to Yahoo's customer service I could send mail again and I received an advisory that the problem could be avoided in the future by avoiding message with "spam-like characteristics."

Wow, they'll outsmart the Russian trolls who write in...get this...Russian!

Evidently the only real solution is to forget about Yahoo Mail.

Right now I'm a bar near the train station - specifically, sitting at the bar with a single malt (Glenfiddich 12yo - not my first choice, but it's a 'spit and sawdust,' kind of place) before heading home.

Edinburgh won and so enticed me to lay down hard cash. It's cool here and Glasgow (including the RSNO and the BBC SSO) is only 60 minutes or so away by train. The best thing I did in 2017 was to finally sell my house. The coincidence there is that photos I'd started taking at that time attracted interest and turned into a commission. Oh my.
I hope that all those who post here that I came to consider as friends and who play(ed) their part in enriching my appreciation of music and stuff are happy and healthy.

New city, new gym. It'll probably still have the seasonal influx of those who made a resolution about fitness/weight loss over the new year. More power to them.

On the way back I'll pick-up a sirloin steak for this evening. And there's a jacket I had altered that can be collect today. Speaking of jackets, is there an opinion on owning two of the same piece, differing only in colour? I already have this one -

When I've done that I've more often than not regretted not taking the opportunity for a bit more diversity.

Yeah, that's it, that's one of the reasons I'm hesitating. Also, I'm basically a cheapskate who doesn't like spending money on stuff.
