Anything from Baroque to the present day - but orchestral music written after about 1870 is my "sweet spot"!

To the Center for Clarinet...

Just listened to this - I like the rhythmic drive of the quicker section, and especially the section that begins at 1:06. The slower section is nicely lyrical. Excellent work!
So much great music, so little time...

After hearing Ibert's wonderful "Divertissment" I composed 3 short wind pieces in the 20s French style. I hope you like them!

Here is a five-part suite. The movements are brief and the total time is 8:40 The scoring is for clarinet and piano, though flute or violin can be substituted for the clarinet. 1. Rip awakes (in 7/8); 2. avoids his shrewish wife and 3. Rip and his dog (wolf) play; 4. Rip meets his adult daughter and 5. Rip settles into a peaceful life.

A chamber trio (Violin, Cello, Clarinet) for next summer. The request was for "modern, but not too dissonant." Surprise surprise...

Here's the opening: https://soundcloud.com/ronald-roumanis/trio-opening-12-21?in=ronald-roumanis/sets/trio-music-andante-giocoso-12

Here's a new work. It's not particularly "modern" sounding; it's more songful in nature
For trumpet and piano...

My third short trumpet work of this series. It's meditative and ends with a chorale.
