I'm stuck on just an intro

I just came up with this intro (link above), it's very bombastic and I think a bit Beethoven-ish, but right now I don't know how to continue this, does anyone maybe have a suggestion for where I could go so that I can maybe write further? Thanks! :D

Variations: take it into polytonality, e.g. D minor or major in the bass vs F# major or minor in the treble, or turn it into an antiphonal section, the treble echoing the bass or vice versa, or do both!  Use the chords as the basis for melodies contrasting with the stolid opening...
