Judith

Thank you all for your lovely welcome.  Feel as though, already made friends.

Can I ask a question.  Loving the posts but is there anyway I can "like" them?

Thank you once again :) :)

Unfortunately, Judith, there is no 'like' function.

Luckily, there is no 'like' function. ;)

Welcome Judith, enjoy your time here.

And if you like Schumann, you might want to try one of his favorite composers: Jan (Johann) Kalliwoda:

Gosh, Cato, thanks so much for the link, the symphony is playing while I type.
If I had to guess who the composer is from only listening, I would have said Schumann.
Kalliwoda wrote this in 1840, fascinating!

Hello, Judith, and welcome. Nothing to complain about Brahms and Schumann! My first Brahms exposure, around age 12: Symphony No. 4, with Bruno Walter and the Columbia Symphony Orchestra.

Have a good time here!

Sorry Judith - I only just spotted this. She was a student at the University so she stayed in different locations. 'Oxey/Oxhey Halls of Residence' comes to mind.
Best wishes
