I had curtailed my purchases in 2017 but a trawl produced the following highlights:

The Langgaard and Holmboe symphony sets are certainly treasure troves of good music, aligreto. 8)

Hey, North Star, I have the superb Kurtag/Keller CD  ;D

But then a statistical certainty given that number of CDs 😁

I only buy recordings which aren't available from Qobuz streaming, or can't get from friends who are willing to share, so very few

We have very different tastes in perfofmers, but you seem very taken by Lydia Maria Blank.
I will look into her recordings!  :)

And this made it to my wishlist:

I like Maria Skiba's voice, her restrained style in Dowland, this discovery has given me a lot of pleasure over the year.

I have enjoyed Blank's CDs, but I have a friend who's much more experienced listening to baroque and Renaissance instrumental music than I am, who can't see what the fuss is about. In all fairness he describes himself as blasé, but you have been warned!

As far as Tunder is concerned, I have very much enjoyed Syré, I think more than Dirksen/van Laar. Nothing follows.

I have not been able to evaluate the last batch of boxes (Walcha: Bach Harpsichord works, Pro Arte Qt. Haydn...) and I have probably forgotten quite a few I was excited about, but a few good ones:

Mozart's violin sonatas with Podger/Cooper
Nielsen chamber + piano music on Dacapo
Diapason boxes of Brahms chamber music and Schubert piano music
Bloch: String Qt. 1-4/Griller Qt.

Fuss?? Yes, he must indeed be blasé. In all fairness she is expressive in a most individual but still stylish way. And the Göttweig partitas are a sensation by itself. Hopefully someone will record them all.

I'll add these two to my year's best:

Both are terrific.

Intriguing picks, Marc:)

Thanks.
Tunder (et al) and Biber somehow belong to my inner homeland ;), and Hannigan (with Berg and Gershwin) is a nice travel abroad.
She's a dish, and so is her voice!

Wow, interesting recordings here. The Hildegard von Bingen on piano looks especially intriguing. For me, 2017 brought these new favorites:

Sweelinck complete keyboard works:

Gioconda de vito "complete" (not really! Missing the Brahms cto conducted by Rudolf Schwarz!)

My first Paul van Nevel disk:

If you really dislike Bach you keep quiet about it! - Andras Schiff

The Best
Vocation – Hildegard von Bingen, et al; Marie-Luise Hinrichs (Raum Klang)
The Hinrichs is astoundingly beautiful.

My favourite purchases of 2017...
It wasn't an amazing year, with some duds and a considerable amount of recordings that were nice but didn't quite fulfill my high expectations...
Still, the pickings got better as the year progressed..  :)

Early Music:

Two disc by the Huelgas ensemble made it to the finals:

Baroque:

Baroque prize of the year: Francois Fernandez' recordings of the Bach sonatas and Partitas for solo violin - awesome:

I am mentioning the Locatelli set, not because it is the best Italian Baroque music ever written, but because the music is consistently very good and so are the performances:

Telemann was a composer that I started exploring this year.. Some excellent pickings:

As seen above, al lot of recorder music - and favourites - this year:

Dagmar Sašková is a wonderful singer, together with Nuria Rial my vocal discoveries of the year:

Harpsichord music:

Absolute winner and biggest surprise was Gustav Leonhardt, with his Philips recordings and a Forqueray recital:

Classical & Romantic

A winner Magic Flute... Jacobs' La Clemenza di Tito is on the wish list for next year...

Partly known recordings - I already had the symphonies - but I really liked the string symphonies. An amazing bargain:

A pretty late Boccherini discovery... ( both of these recordings have now been reissued)

Awesome Grieg recital on a period instrument (composer's own Steinway):

And then for the grand finale - though I'm just getting started - of all favourite purchases:

The best 40 euros spent this year.... :D  Awesome!!  :)

I'm sure I missed a few.. and despite my best efforts there is still plenty of stuff unlistened to... But I guess the list is long enough as it is... ;)

Happy hunting in the next year! :)
