After a good night's rest, I have decided not to leave to the dismay of some I imagine. What I am going to do, however, is keep a low profile for awhile. I want to thank the members here who have come forward on this thread and asked me not to leave. This was a great surprise to me.

I do want to say that my decision wasn't one specific member, but a combination of several of them. Thanks to all who posted on this thread!

Gosh - I've only just read this thread. I was horrified to hear that you were leaving John and then enormously relieved to find that you had reconsidered. I don't think that I need to tell you how much your contributions here, not to mention friendship, have meant and do mean to me. Please keep up the contributions!

Sorry I was late to this thread, I too have lately been on a bit of a low-profile mode. But glad to see you didn't leave, John. I still owe you one for your hefty donation to my Schnittke collection a few years back.

Ah, I doubt the lamentations, but thanks John!   It was your rumblings about leaving that made me post again.  I figured that I couldn't miss any more of your Sibelius, Elgar, Debussy and Strauss posts. After all, each could be the last one!!!
