BUDAPEST – a city with one of the best locations in the world
No visitor of the Hungarian capital can resist its beauty. The city enchants, impresses, and fascinates at the same time. The Danube divides the city into the hilly Buda and the flat Pest. The most interesting attractions of Budapest are the Fishermen's Bastion, the Mathias Church, the Royal Castle, the Citadel, and the Parliament building. It is here, "by the beautiful blue Danube," that the Budapest Music Festival takes place.

Are you  promoter or travel agent as such?

I attended last year edition, and I can testify that it is the absolute worst music festival I have ever attended.  I saw Othello on Margaret island.  A really lovely site for open air theater.  But god !  They amplified the singers with the most horrible sound system.  You could not even recognize the tone of the voices.  The singers were not very good on top of that.

The first issue about a music festival is the music program.  It seems indeed to be organized by some travel organization which think that classical music lovers are a bunch of blokes  that know nothing about the music.

There was also the Viktor Orban effect: police cars rounding up all the people that have a homeless look.  Incidently that didnt prevent the city to be unclean and very noisy at night.

We are the organisers.
What is here described by Spineur has not been our Music Festival.
It was not on Margaret Island. We never allow soundsystems.
