Very cool.

Seconded.

I was born (and am still) in nearby Greece, Ece - and I'm also 18 (more like 19), as well! I don't play the violin, though. :P

But welcome to the forum, nonetheless. ;)

Greetings from The Netherlands Ece, and you are very welcome! :)

Hi Ece, and welcome.  You'll find a few Puccini fans here, including me!  The Chailly La Bohème (with Gheorghiu and Alagna) is one of my favorite recordings.  Anyway, enjoy GMG - lots of interesting people here.

Welcome Ece!

Puccini is great, he is one of my favorite opera composers.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Hello Ece from a fellow Istanbul-bred.

I don't enjoy opera much myself (yet) but we used to go to Istanbul Opera and Ballet's productions in Taksim AKM. I distantly remember a particularly well made Salome from the 1990's (you are obviously too young to have attended though  ;D)

Manon

Yes, I was very young to watch Salome in Istanbul Opera.
I've been watching operas in AKM for 10 years.I don't miss any opera now.In 2007-2008 season new productions will be shown like Puccini's La Rondine. As i like Puccini a lot, i am happy to hear that!  ;)
