I was recently invited to join a group trying to create a series of 24 preludes and fugues.  This prelude is part of my contribution to that project, not got round to the fugue yet!

I was trying to explore the less usual time signature of 5/8 to the best of my ability.  Hope you enjoy it.

5/8, hmmm... With a slower tempo and some rubato you could turn it into a nice zortziko.  :)

That's quite interesting as my partner is Vasco, the Zortziko being their national dance.

Wouldn't it be nice to dedicate her a Prelude in form of zortziko:)

I noticed that your compositions work better in a slower tempo than the one played on dropbox, and I remember you agreeing. Could it be a software thing?

You could be right, it's a curious thing, when I listen directly from the laptop, most of the time the tempo seems fine, then when I take it to the piano and plug it in, I often have to adjust the tempo.
