Thanks for the comment! I'll definitely work on my voice leading. I actually live in Arlington Heights, Chicago not LA. That's funny though!

I strongly suggest you make one single thread, say OscoBosco's Compositions, and post all your compositions there. This way we can all listen to them and post our opinions in one and the same thread. Good luck!

Hi Oscar,
This is another fascinating work, I really like your style and execution.  I would have liked to hear more modulation into other keys I think, is there a reason you don't really do that?  However, that doesn't take away from what otherwise is a great piece.

This is a peaceful nocturne/ballad that gets continuously interrupted by stormy winds and dancing tangents. It's dramatic and heartfelt. Rushed and calm. This piece had two completely different versions written down before I decided to combine both of them into one, since I liked both.

I love bach and this is my homage to him. Instead of trying to imitate his gorgeous fluid counterpoint, I went ahead and put my own spin on it by allowing the other voices (mostly found in the left hand) to shine and intrude as percussive "sound effects". I call it Endlessly Partita

Also haha, a sub to my channel would mean the world to me :)

Again going for the minimalist style, I tried to include a lot of different melodies in this ballad that create an overall sense of infinity and creativity. It's got a somber mood filled with little phrases here and there that although different from each, complete a larger whole.

Nice lyrical work!

Just recently finished my piano piece titled "Walking on G." It's like a mellow mesh of Erik Satie & Arvo Pärt. Would love your guys' feedback on this!

My fairy tale bagatelle for bassoon and piano duet with sheet music - I'm happy with this one and would love to hear your guys' opinion on it! Just want to be a better composer :)

I had a lot of fun writing this particular piece due to its gorgeous melody and the little nuances I tried to create here and there. I explore the rising octave motif (first heard in the opening melody) throughout the piece––it also being the catalyst in the three short sections dividing the return to the main theme.

It sounds like you are your number one fan and truly admire your awesomely gorgeous music.  Congratulations.

I didn't like the piece you composed. It was rather boring and the music just went nowhere interesting harmonically or melodically --- sorry, but I had to say it. Also, why don't you create a composer thread for yourself instead of creating a new thread every time you write a piece of music? You're clogging up this section of the forum.

I can't comment on the new one, but I enjoyed this because it's not linear.

FWIW:  you need to add some dynamics and phrasing to your (I assume its you) playing.  As presented its a simple - rather bland - stream of music.  Inoffensive, fairly obvious/predictable modulations - you might well consider it a "gorgeous melody" ...... I couldn't possibly comment.
