Yes they are, but as yet I do not know when.

Great performances so far.  :)

If the series has one single weakness, it is that Rademann doesn't scale down the size of  his vocal forces when that would be preferable.

Yes I noticed, the Brilliant release does.
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

I will buy this series eventually when they box it all up for an affordable price, and they will :) I already have the more than excellent set on Brilliant, which I treasure too. However, loved the voice of Dorothee Mields.

It has been boxed up but in three volumes, each around £30 from Amazon UK (£94.98 for all 3) though possibly available cheaper elsewhere. Pondering how much of it I want to buy without too much duplication.

Piano Trio in D minor, Hob.XV:23

My first meeting ever with any of his piano trios. I couldn't guess it is a Haydn's work without looking at the CD. Positively impressed, this is good and enjoyable music.

The sheer quantity and the amazing quality make Haydn's probably the finest set of piano trios ever composed and the BAT is a box for the ages. I've listened to it in its entirety during the total lockdown this spring and it helped me enormously to preserve my sanity and good cheers. Go for them all, there's not one single item less than very good.

Another double CD that made a deep impression, is undoubtedly Giovanni Battista Fasolo, Magnificat-Salve regina-ricercates-canzoni-Fughe, released on the Brilliant label, and performed by, Federico del Sordo, on a Antegnati organ, 1589 in the Verona cathedral, and a Paolo Pietro da Montefalco, 1509, at Trevi, in Umbria. Two very fine organs, well restored and expertly played by del Sordo. The vocal contributions are by, In Dulci Jubilo, Alberto Turco. Nothing left to be wished, it's all done to perfection, even the reverberation in the Verona Cathedral is controlled. Sound is good!

What I meant was one box, reissued, with only program notes, sort of a cheaper version.

OK, I hope that happens for you. I have two of the boxes saved in my Spotify library but I haven't really explored them yet, just a few samples.

One of my favorite sets. If he had written nothing more than these trios (and of course, there's QUITE a bit more), his reputation would be secure. Also, the performances are stellar.

Ah, scrolling too fast, I somehow missed this, or would have included it in my comments. "Preserve sanity," indeed.

Agree completely.

New arrival: Amirov, Symphony 'To the Memory of Nizami'.
An attractive work from 1941, reminiscent of Vaughan Williams's 'Concerto Grosso':

'The test of a work of art is, in the end, our affection for it, not our ability to explain why it is good' (Stanley Kubrick).

That's on my next order list too, I bought some years ago already a naxos CD and was duly impressed. Be interested in your impression of the music and sound!
