+1 - for the afternoon, some more Il Boemo for me - Dave :)

I really like these violin concertos with Ishikawa.  Probably the most appealing Myslivecek works I've heard.

Another go at this incredible disc.

I change my mind and settle for the classy & fancy music, let's says elegant Franco-Flemish music, master of Flandria a very evolve musical language and it's Lambert de Sayve,  rendition is Capella Flamenca were can I get wrong whit this, love this CD a lot, Not much was recorded of this composer, this is so sad   :'(

I heard that symphony some months ago and I found it splendid. The other works on the CD left me cold, though.
The current annihilation of a people on this planet (you know which one it is) is the most documented and at the same time the most preposterously denied. The terror IS REAL!

Interesting  :) :) :). I preferred the other works to the Symphony. I will listen to it again!

Kinsella: Symphony No. 6

Field: Piano Concerto No. 7 and other works

Hamiton Harty: An Irish Symphony

Stanford: Irish Symphony

I'm usually indifferent to Stanford, but this one's a real beauty.

I think that exhausts the Irish composers in my collection.
Interesting selection. I like the Kinsella and the Stanford in particular.

Easter is coming up and my morning listening is a recording with a selection of works (motets) for Lent and the Office for the Dead by Cristóbal Morales:

The presentation of the CD is up to Lauda's amazing standards, with extensive liner notes and beautiful artwork.
