A nice and interesting composer that crossed my path through the fortepiano sonatas set by Colladant.
Later added the recording of the string quartets.

Que - I have just 2 CDs of Laure Collandant and would love that box but cannot see a source!   >:(  Own 8 recordings of Woelfl including the SQs you posted plus the ones w/ the Authentic Quartet, would also like to obtain the Quatuor Mosaiques but the price is a little much for me.  Dave :)

Endlessly fascinating textures, from the solo flute to oboe, clarinet and bassoon trio to full wind quintet. Works composed between 1975 and 1991.

Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach: Hamburg Symphonies, Wq. 183. Didier Talpain, Solamente Naturali

This is an excellent disc. I don't know anything about the Solamente Naturali ensemble but they sound excellent.

I need to check that one out, apparently :)

You won't regret, Karl. It does deserve to be heard.

Pergolesi: Stabat Mater
Gouvy: Symphonies 1 and 2

I think I prefer the recording on DG featuring Abbado and the LSO on the Pergolesi.

Revisiting Gouvy's symphonies. Charming, easygoing, joyful. Nothing but sheer bliss.

Hello now see, thee olden Boy either a town idiot of choice, had it in download and want the CD media. So I purchased, Sigismondo India in CD format I forgot had in my librairie, even if Had it in digital format. .
I'm listening curently to the download version,on RICERCARE RECORDS, endorse this album so much it's magical, surreal beauty, ''fais dans les règles DE l'art''= state of the art, Top notch a keeper you cherish.

So this mean I might as Well be a devotee ratter than smartest town idiot of all time, since for CD sounds better than MP3, so I guess, for purist sake like me, classical lover.
[color] I'm spellbound by the result of this album, pure on cut genius, nothing more none diluted red wine, fully fruit taste for the thirsty.

Piano Concerto No. 1

An incredible work. The second movement has a so haunting otherworldly atmosphere. I'm very impressed. I wonder if John knows this work.

I've been feeling a bit down today, but Vaughan Williams' 5th always manages to soothe my soul. An important work in my early classical listening and it's still important for me. A masterpiece.
