Easter is early this year!
Trying to make a modest dent in my collection of music for the Holy Week.

Gosh, this is beautiful! Thanks for posting.
Made me realise I do most of my Renaissance listening with smaller ensembles these days, but when a choir and music are as good as this the results are astoundingly lovely.

Good morning y'all.

Disc 4 is called "Haydn's Haydn" and contains his keyboard arrangements of some of his chamber and orchestral works.

I bought this set on a completist's urge, but the satisfaction I get out of it goes beyond that. Terrific set!  :)

Glad you enjoy it!  :)

Herreweghe is quite unique in achieving that level of precision and unity with larger forces.
