I miss him too but I was quite adept at deciphering his bizarre posts (perhaps I'm delusional  ;) ). He was coherent in a number of PMs we exchanged so his posts were a stylistic choice. While I abhorred his politics, his bigotry, his misogyny, I found his fanatical interest in the small details of musical performance fascinating, and occasionally enlightening too.
