What to think of ensemble such as Ensemble Sarband, a German collective ensemble from what I heard, that exist since the early 80 or mid 80''.

They done amazing stuff so far I have several album of them, one of them is le Llibre Vermell de Montserrat one of my favorite era in classical music the early 15 Ct Spain, music of pilgrims of Monteserrat.

There more you like Eric Satie well Sarband done it in a middle eastern flavoring, you like J.s Bach Sarabnd did something whit his music too.You like the fameous ''Le mystere des voix Bulgares'' good news for you Sarband did something in this genre.

Sarband is not straight flush classical, but classical ornamented whit exotic flavors.

Anyone Familiar whit them, are they a singular case mixing world and classical. Nothing quite sound like ensemble Sarband, there closer to world than classical, band like VAS and IRFAN.

Thy are a breath of fresh air that for sure. But most likely, it's not everyone cup of tea. I don't that many people interest in world music and classical, and Sarband perhaps more world than classical?

What do you think, do you like some of there work or indifferent to them?

It seems that several Early music ensembles have albums that also border world music. Savall has done such albums, also L'arpeggiata/Pluhar, I believe. And there are probably more.

Then of course, there is lots of 20th and 21ist century music influenced by ethnic or traditional music. Paul Schoenfield has written several Klezmer related pieces (Klezmer Rondos and a piano trio with clarinet), there is Piazzolla, Golijov and many more.
