Musicologist, author, and trumpeter Ed Tarr has died. He was from the USA, but lived in Switzerland. He recorded many Renaissance and Baroque natural trumpet pieces. Sad. He was a major moving force in the renaissance of the natural trumpet, I have read some few of his writings and listened to several CD's. Other trumpeters give him a lot of credit for their own career course.  RIP...
