I got an Ion turntable for Christmas as well. Of course I was not expecting much but I have had fun playing some LPs again. The turntable noise is obtrusive in quiet moments but in general it was better than I thought. Maybe one day I'll get my old Dual turntable back from my daughter!

Looks v interesting Lol. In fact there's a 'Sevenoaks Hi-Fi' in Tunbridge Wells which is nearer. However, the problem is one of space. My CD player, Amp and Speakers are in the Living Room in a hi-fi cabinet (not the speakers). The only place for a separate LP player would be sitting on the top of it, but that would not go down well here (let's not go there). So, my little ION all-in-one unit sits snuggly in the study upstairs.
