I know for fact any Cordes or Bruser conduct ensemble is always super great.

I never being deceived by the result of it all I have everything renaissance laden by these two great conductor and I cherish there recording, it's not just there working whit CPO a great label , they are prodigiously skill, they know how to do there stuff, how to light up the magic, if someone attack there recording I go ballistic mad, like hey man do you know you're stuff, do you know the music.

Chapeau mister Cordes and mister Bruser. We sometime forgot, the music depend on the ensemble and the conductor, let's not forget folks.

Not everyone understand the soul of one music, these gentleman do, sharpest knife in the drawer, so people into renaissance seek there recording, you don't believe me verified what I claim.

Have a nice day to all, I just woke up 12 hours sleeping for a guy that hardly sleep 5 hours this is awesome, normally it never happen.

I f there is already a post somewhere on conductor of ensemble please move it somewhere else if not let it be there.I trust the Op of this forum a hundred %

Ah the Josquin Capella of Meinolf Bruser, all they put out is godlike,
I have four recordings of his:

Stoltzer psalms (very well done)
Lamentationes (a favorite of mine)
Jacques Arcadelt (marvelous)
Heinrich Fink (introduce me to his excellence)

Manfred Cordes and his Weser renaissance Bremen, I happen to have to many to mention, there recording all done state of the art.

These guys done so much for polyphony it's admirable, they deserve laurel & all the honors, for making gems, there albums never let me down so far.

Great Germans conductors, finest ensemble and we most thanks CPO in the end, awesome label!!!

pjme

Thanks. all is clear now.

And here's some Willaert from Manfred Cordes. I don't know if it has been released commercially -- there's a concert recording of him playing Willaert in Venice a few years ago here -- I think rather good.
