Sad to begin a composer thread with a death, but I received word that Ingram Marshall died earlier today. In the 1990s, I listened to Fog Tropes (1988) a lot, and enjoyed the rest of the album as well. Met him a few times, and like others, found him a peaceable man, who happened to be blessed with an original ear.

RIP.  I enjoyed meeting you and hearing your music.  You had a unique voice that should be better known.

Never heard of him but I thoroughly enjoyed the atmospheric 'Fog Tropes' which I just listened to on You Tube.
"Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm" (Churchill).

'The test of a work of art is, in the end, our affection for it, not our ability to explain why it is good' (Stanley Kubrick).
