Sure, it was also on Areena, but it's not available at the moment. The interview was in English, of course.
https://areena.yle.fi/1-1922244

YLE is the Finnish National Broadcasting Company, and the Finnish RSO is their orchestra. Areena is where all of YLE's online video/audio content is.
Thanks.  And you're fast!  I had modified my original post a bit and was also going to add that I googled the website and saw, as you said above, that it's the Finnish NBC.   :)  But thank you!   ;D

Do you remember when the interview was from?  It might be possible to find it via the internet archive (forget the name of the site)...or, maybe, you, me and others could request them to put it back online (if they are legally able to at this point in time?)?  I'd love to read it!

Best wishes,

PD

The date it was last broadcast was in May 2013, shown again in memory of Davis. Looking at the interwebs, I found a transcript of it.

p.s. What is YLE Areena?  Also, is there a way to see it in English?  Wish that I knew Finnish!   :(

Now is an excellent time to learn Finnish, and acquaint oneself with a culture that is
1 not all about the almighty dollar and
2 highly successful.

Thank you for that link; I'll try digging around in a bit for the actual broadcast too.

In lieu of cancelling his concerts Jeremy Denk was streaming WTC on The Greene Space's website last Tuesday, does anyone know if there is still a way to watch it? The website doesn't load.

The Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra is streaming a recent Bruckner nr 6 with conductor Bernard Haitink on its Facebook page.

The concert is preceded by an at home introduction by the leader of the 2nd violins. Best skip this as it is in Dutch.

Dear music lovers,
This weekend we picked a baroque gem for you.
On 9 February 2018 Vox Luminis performed Henry Purcell's semi-opera King Arthur at AMUZ. The story tells how during his battle against the Saxons Emmeline, the lover of the British king Arthur, is conducted by the magician Osmond. To save her Arthur needs to withstand several dangerous magic spells. Merlin, knights and sprites come to the rescue. The vocal and instrumental cast of Vox Luminis and the very engaging narrator Simon Robson presented Purcell's masterpiece in an exciting and lively performance. We are sure you will enjoy this performance.
You can find the concert on Soundcloud and on our AMUZ Facebook page. It will be available there from Saturday 18 April until Monday 20 April. The detailed programme and programme notes can be found at the end of this message.

Take care of yourself and of each other.

Pardon if someone has already posted about this, but I just found this now on NPR:  https://www.npr.org/2020/03/17/816504058/a-list-of-live-virtual-concerts-to-watch-during-the-coronavirus-shutdown

Covers all types of music.   :)

It seems like most live concerts (as in with audience attendance) will not happen until next year. This pandemic has also put sporting events, film/TV production, theaters, etc. on hold as well.
