Hi
« on: May 26, 2020, 04:14:18 AM »
I will be brief, I like any kind of classical music, but especially the Baroque period.
Lately I am getting interested in twelve tone music.

Welcome aboard!  :)
The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.

Nice sentiment regarding Scarlatti.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and leave no doubt.

Welcome to the forum. I too like most styles of classical, as well as a fair bit of jazz and pop (let's exclude rap & hip hop....). I do get bored when listening to any style after a while and need a change. When playing I do my best whether I like the piece or not.
