I seem to recall he was retiring and moving houses. Things I seem to remember can be inaccurate, however.

Your memory is more or less correct, although I seem to remember this was by email with a GMGer, and not his own post.

Yes, that's right. He has been a very good and generous GMG friend and I have been in touch with him - but not for a while. I miss his presence here.

San Antone

Hi guys - thanks for thinking of me.  I have been otherwise occupied, but do wonder from time to time what's going on over at GMG; and then I received an email from Karl.  So thought I'd check in.

Looks like things have changed a bit with the look of the forum.  Nice.

Very nice to see you again! It took a while to get used to the new forum layout and look, but boy do I love it now!

Whatever happened to the two Mike mods, Knight66 and Gurn Blanston? They haven't been active since January. I do hope they are okay. Maybe @Que and @brewski know more and can enlighten us.

I can assure you that both Mike's are just fine, and thriving elsewhere. Since Twitter is a public arena, I think it's fine to mention Mike Brook's handle — https://twitter.com/mikedbrook — where he posts many of his own photographs. Gurn has a very knowledge-filled website (for anyone who loves Haydn who hasn't found it yet): Haydn Seek, https://www.fjhaydn.com/.
