I moved to Mount Horeb shortly after the Mustard Museum opened. My mustard of choice was Spike O'Dell's Bite Your Butt brand, but the museum has since moved closer to Madison and that brand is now called Slimm and Nunne's Sweet & Nicely Hot Mustard.

Somehow, I still have my Poupon U coffee mug I bought from there in the 90's; I still use it at work today.

The Peristyle: connected as a wing of the Toledo Museum of Art, one of the top art museums in America,is the concert hall of The Toledo Symphony Orchestra.



The ceiling is designed to look like a night-time sky (and it does), when the lights are turned down.

Leopold Stokowski conducted a concert there, and praised the acoustics.

Just ahead of the theater's opening the Dayton Daily News noted that "One of the chief items of interest is the ceiling. That is gentle domed, and upon it can be placed any effect from a bright warm sunlight to a night sky shimmering with stars and moonlight".
