I was wondering the same thing, and did a google image search. It's a vertebra of a Perucetus colossus "the heaviest animal in the world".

I assumed it was from one of Prospero's prophetic/magical books. From the same bit that gives us the famous quote: "try tuning it off and on again".

At the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the front of 'Étant donnés' (1946-66) by Marcel Duchamp. I love this photo because it gives no clues about the rest of the artwork.

A former English student, or so he claims. He posted it on my FB page. I was using a Giger-inspired pictures of a guitar for an avatar--I guess he wanted to show me his Giger-inspired work. I'm not convinced he actually created it, but I didn't want to be rude and question him about it.

Did he or someone actually build this or (as I'm guessing) is it all just designed via some computer program?

Yes Midjourney is one of the very well known AI art tools.  You feed it a description and away it goes!

And I was thinking that possibly someone had actually built this--for real. Perhaps it will give someone some inspiration for either artwork for sale or a designer for a sci-fi movie in the future?
