I'm absolutely in love with the art of Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and of his works, I particular like this one a lot:

Two approaches by Avedon. The first is Brooke Shields. I love that shadow on the (camera) right side of her face - graduated tonality and all that - but it's flattering to the point of not needing fill to get rid of the potential double chin. He just carries it on under. What a pretty girl. I had an ex I'd often light that way.
On the minus side, I don't like the crop. And speaking of crops -



- if that wasn't originally 6x6 I'll eat my hat. Anyway, the real Rocky. Or more exactly, the real Rocky and Suzie Q, his punishing right hand. His record: fights - 49, Wins - 49, Wins by KO - 43, Losses - 0
That's one of only two photographs I have on my wall that were taken by other photographers, with the second being an Anton Bruehl shot of Louis Armstrong.

Heh. That's really well done. Perhaps a little too well done...
