Pohjolas Daughter

Yes, lovely photo Mirror Image!

This one always makes me smile....

Vaughan Williams with his favorite cat (Foxy).  If I'm recalling correctly (from a Michael Kennedy book), he used to let his cats sit on his stomach whilst he was composing.    ;D

Geralmar,

I saw that image (along with several others) yesterday on the BBC's website.  The man who took it apparently had a fear of mice and rats (better now) and spent I think five days laying on the ground in the Tube at night!

Yes, Vaughan Williams with his favourite cat Foxy (a well chosen name) is a favourite of mine too. Yes, the stomach story is apparently true. My cat likes to sit on my chest when I'm in the bath (too much information!  ???)

LOL that is very true. Rock albums have tended to have much more original artwork.
There were some cool (sometimes 'whacky') ones from the '70's though.  Anything since?  I'm having a hard time thinking of any.   :(

The newest ones I bought, from 2018-19, have been quite smart and abstract.

This....

When Darrell Blatchley, a marine mammal expert and the curator at the D'Bone Collector Museum in Davao City, brought the whale back to the lab to open it up for a necropsy, he found something shocking: more than 88 pounds of plastic waste jammed into its belly.

"Plastic was just bursting out of its stomach," he said. "We pulled out the first bag, then the second. By the time we hit 16 rice sacks—on top of the plastic bags, and the snack bags, and big tangles of nylon ropes, you're like—seriously?"
