A cosy family sitting room and the decor is very restrained for 1970. ;)

I like this one too. His parents (especially mom) look so conventional. :D But the mod decor of the house suggests otherwise - I wonder if Frank bought the house for them and had it decorated his way? Or maybe it's actually Frank's house ...

I always remember what Greil Marcus wrote about Zappa (quoting from memory): "Is there any facet of American culture that Frank Zappa hasn't pissed on? If so, write and tell him what it is, and he'll go get a beer out of the fridge and unzip." :P

I suspect that it's Frank's as he seems to like purple.  Good to see that he was a fellow cat lover!

Unfortunately no. I got it from Twitter, no other information was given.
The account that posted it is @NormalComposers, I think: "Composers doing normal things".

I ran across this (pun not intended!).  Looks like the same photo.  Not certain of the year but some neat info about Elgar and his love of cycling and the bikes that he owned, etc.  :)

I'd think this would more for 71 dB than Vandermolen. I know Jeffrey likes Elgar, but not to the extent as does Vaughan Williams for example.

JBS

This one is definitely for 71dB.

I love that picture!  Wish that I had had a tricycle like that...love the integration of the horse into it.  ;D
