Plante made some posts on Slipped Disc the other day, where he identified the contemporary composers in the picture below, including himself. So, I thought I would track down his odd, 8-minute cantata Love in the Asylum, based on a Dylan Thomas poem.

I have heard of/acquainted with some of the composers/compositions.  So were you really there (wasn't certain whether or not you might be joking, no insult intended)?!  If so, pretty cool!  Are you a composer yourself?  Or how did you end up being there?

Gotcha!  Sorry, I had misunderstood the posting.  What an interesting gathering though!!!!  Even in terms of the composers whose music I know to various extents.  Pretty cool!  I'll check out your link later....very busy day here.
