love this photo -- the large version is hilarious. Along with two or three others there's a copy of it at an Italian cafe which I drink espresso at every day. The face of the guy on the scooter is priceless

There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz

Well, now I see where your new avatar came from!   ;D

I like these in particular:

Thanks, I think you can wander from album to album by clicking top left. I am just adding some Venice photos. There are some of Morocco....but not in the album marked Morocco. I am only just getting the hang of organising them. I managed to get some family birthday ones mxed up with Northern Cyprus!

Oooooh, particualrly nice ones, Mike:

Some of these, however, make me sad & miss New Zealand, like this one that reminds me of the Avon River in Christchurch...  :'(  (Chch is often referred to as "the most English city outisde England")

Thanks for the comments. That's good, I can see from what you have copied that folk can indeed scan round the different albums. That final photo is of a really beautiful village about 15 miles from where I live. I love that calm run of water. At some times of the year there are so many trout further upstream that you feel you could walk across them.

The orange one above is my window in the early morning with the blind down.

The Venice ones are just loading....rather a lot of them. I will get round to the Finland ones some time.

Knight, keep at it and one day your photos might even approach the level of Saul's.  ;D

Kullervo

I like to take similar photos, by the way  :D:

(I quite like the way this one turned out.)

Others I've taken in the past I like:

Very nice photos , Mike.

By the way, is that you with the sunglasses?

knight66

No, not me with the sunglasses, a friend who was also in Barcelona. I do make the odd very rare appearance. I have added a lot of Venice and Finland photos.

amazing how much libraries look alike........

Hell yeah, that looks identical to my local one. *adds this to a list of things that Yeovil and Florida have in common...*

ATM it has two entries: contains humans; similar libraries. I am stuck now - the weather certainly doesn't bear comparison... :P
