Four levels have horizontal balconies, and some others are close enough to horizontal that they could be used normally. If you look some balconies have things on them, so they are used.

But most of them are wasted living space.

It does however look cool.

Like you, some looked more level than others.  Initially, I wondered if perhaps there might be some kind of clear flooring(?) that wasn't visible (to level off things).  Other than opening up the door/window and letting some fresh air in (through a screen I imagine), they don't seem very practical.

Make sure to take (or lock down) the wheels on your grill!

The website which sells the jomeh Mayor Adams wore lists it as out of stock. Perhaps the Mayor will make traditional Bukharian clothing trendy.  (Bukharis are the Jews of Uzbekistan.)


He was, it might be mentioned, visiting a synagogue whose congregants are mainly Lebanese Jews.
