Sara - LOL!  ;D  Can't imagine if I had to translate English to Japanese or Chinese - I've seen many 'funny' translations in these product booklets, but that is one of the tops!  Dave  :D

Brünnhilde forever

Most beautiful flower pictures, Dave, thanks for posting here.

Now sit back, have a cup of espresso and appreciate Italian advertisement.  8)

On election day, in India, coming from the some of the biggest celebs. ;D It's usually on the index finger that the officer at the voting booth puts a drop of the indelible ink, but Bombay seems to be different.

I can only guess what happened: 50000 volts and no need to incinerate the body  :o

I'd be surprised if it wasn't Van Halen performing Jump- when every time he jumps he lets out a really big fart.

Which band is that?

Boredoms - I wasn't familiar with them until a week or two ago, neat - if weird - stuff.

Well, you never know what will be waiting for you at work after a long holiday weekend; below a couple of radiographic images of the lower chest/upper abdomen (left) and much of the remainder of the abdomen (right) - just plain film imaging.

Young lady (early 20s) presented to the ED over the weekend - history could have been 'indigestion' or a 'tingling in her abdomen' -  ;) :)

Any thoughts -  8)

Yes.  WTF?!  I presume you're sure that image was not already present on the film...?

OK, David - this is an exam that I had to read this morning; no trickery & nothing superimposed!  ;D

Now below is a pic of the GI tract superimposed over the abdomen - so for those who may be interested, just try to 'match up' the position of the 'foreign bodies' and the GI tract organ, then go from there?  :D

So shouldn't this be in the "What are you eating?" thread?   ;)

Correct!  These objects were 'injested' (but probably not that tasty!   :D).

At least a half dozen or more AA and AAA batteries (not sure of the brand from the xray appearances), but all in the stomach - removed by our gastroenterologists via upper GI endoscopy (although they likely would have passed via the other end) - patient survived and was not electrocuted!  Amazing what people will swallow or insert into their various orifices -  ;D   Dave

With those batteries, she could have gone on and on, and on... with her life. But, no! The medicos had to remove them.

Begging the question...?

(Wait--I see it now:
"Why did you swallow all those AA & AAA batteries?"
"Because D cells were too big.")

David - LOL!  ;D

Now I've not seen any D-cell batteries in the stomach, but I have viewed xrays of that size battery inserted into the other end of the GI tract, both by themselves and also contained in a flashlight!  :D
