Those two gifs are priceless.  Of course the cat one is kind of tragic, but it's balanced out by the poetic justice of the dog one

LeBron James and his father, Greg Oden.
Fun fact: LeBron is 29 and Greg Oden is 26, even though he looks 52.

This is a pic that is being shared with a petition to help prevent The Met Opera's lockout, showing that Gelb is wrong in saying that Opera attendance and interest is low...

Courtesy of my brother: a restaurant in Peking aka Beijing, a restaurant which obviously believes in being brutally honest with its potential customers, who apparently hail from Australia, Germany, and assorted Scandinavian countires, from what I can glean in the image.

That's a bit more modest than the Chinese restaurant that I go to- they display the sign saying that they were voted #1 in the county and will remind customers. They are proud of it (and should be- let's just say that I'm honored to be able to spend time again tomorrow morning with someone who has virtually no free time).  ;D

This is a first for me.  Something I have produced has been "re-purposed" into some kind of artifact.
Should I go all Disney on you and sue for theft of intellectual copy-rite?
It's all good...

Several promotional pics from Harnoncourt's soon to be released Mozart Symphonies disc.

I wonder if Harnoncourt ever actually blinks? :)

I wonder if Harnoncourt ever actually blinks? :)

Only after he yells, "Harnoncourt, Smash!" which the force of the blink is known to topple small buildings.
