Yeah. There's a shot of his that I consider a particularly fine lesson in perspective, and it's all done with deep focus rather than a shallow DOF. It features legs in an almost empty room. You familiar with it?

That's it. Thanks for finding/posting it. And look, the legs are framing a composition themselves, and it's one that almost appears shot with a longer focal length than the other areas. Good stuff.

Huh?  Only a few years ago, some people asserted that oil would never go below $40/barrel, and gas under $2/gallon was a dream.  Well, at least we can safely say that oil prices will never go over $100/barrel again.

The 11th Doctor as portrayed by Matt Smith in the 2013 outfit. This look only existed for 10 episodes (8 regular and 2 specials) but it has been my favourite since the 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) in his 70s episodes.

I only just came across this picture. ;D

Bogey

I've seen a lot of Bogey ads over the years, but this one is new to me and I believe the timing is right to share it:

There will never be another era like the Golden Age of Hollywood.  We didn't know how to blow up buildings then so we had no choice but to tell great stories with great characters.-Ben Mankiewicz
