Every year Marine Band has a March Madness Contest.  I should have posted this sooner.

It is interesting that so far the John Williams Marches are winning.

Disappointed that the El Cid March and the Children's March have been eliminated.

Of course Children's March lost to the Monty Python March.

Among the marches that are left I am pulling for Holst's "Moorside March".

In its bracket it is going up against William's "1941 March".

I have played both marches and although I prefer the Holst, I think "1941" will win.

Williams has composed some great marches.
