Here an interesting and unknow to me, renaissance French composer. I just found out thank to Peter Urquhart and his Capella Alamire, on a great CD called: Music de Pierrequin de Thérache, on Centaur record, an obscure composer but a gifted one worth checking out Born in Nancy France, anything else has been put out by Pierrequin de Tahérache or Petrus de Thérache, his polyphony seem rich in complex harmony and ''Grandeure''.
