An outstanding recording of 24 Preludes played in 1971 by Gorelashvili. Each prelude comes in a fast-slow sequence.

You must have a very good opinion of yourself to write a symphony - John Ireland.

I opened the door people rushed through and I was left holding the knob - Bo Diddley.

Wow I am envious. I will look for a recording of his piano works!

There is an YT upload. Lots of vinyl noise but I do encourage you to give the Preludes a listen. I think they are incredibly good.

+1 What great music!

Just realised that I have the 'Caucasian Impressions' CD  :)

Incredible! Atmospheric and charismatic music. The restrained/minimal orchestration is very effective and rather sounds sharp. Less is more.
Hope Lisa Batiashvili will record this work, and others, someday.
While I admire Tsintsadze's Fantasia for Piano and Orchestra conducted by Alexander Gauk, this VC no. 2 rivals the musical quality of Fantasia.
Wow!

Wow!

"Less is more" is right, every note counts. Must be fiendishly difficult for the soloist which makes a commercial recording more unlikely. I wish a record company would take up Tsintsadze as a project, that would be something.
