Well Carlton is losing currently. But would you really want to be that cruel to Carlton for yet another year? 2022 they missed the finals by a tiny margin. Maybe 2021 as well, but 2022 is the one I remember.

Ah, I forgot the first semifinal was Thursday! I was out tonight. Sounds like it wasn't much of a match for a neutral.

Had to watch Q4 of Swans-Giants earlier on

Swans 20 down at HT, 21 down at Q3. GWS were on a 23-0 streak when leading at Q3 and they chose today to fail that streak, with 2 swans goals in the last 3 minutes.

The bloke really irks me but Papley was awesome in that Q4, he is mental but the hunger for the ball, christ...

However, there were shades of the Round 2 (3?) encounter this year where the Lions coughed up a 42 point Q3 lead.

There were some particularly angry Blues fans on twitter towards their coach for the management of one player. He apparently played (and well) in any given positions because of their high numbers of injuries in the last few weeks. He only had a baby in the last day or two before the game. They still flew him to get in the team...only to be left unused as a sub.

Not a lot of kind words towards Carlton's management for this...

I was watching on delay so avoided this thread!

Honestly, GWS disappeared for 10 minutes in the 3rd quarter and that's what cost them. I do also think Brisbane got the benefit of a couple of... interesting decisions. But it should have never have come to that.

I think both teams showed some serious weaknesses, and I know Geelong were taking notes. Their coaches were in the stands.
