I was looking for information on Clara Haskil's early recordings, and stumbled upon this website https://www.thepianofiles.com/posts/ and its podcasts https://hearthis.at/the-piano-files/ .  It's created by Mark Ainley, who has been involved in many re-issues of early Dinu Lipatti's recordings. I am not associated with him in any way, just want to spread the word in the hope that he can receive more support on what he does (I became a patreon early today).

Great website and Mark is very cordial, he helped put me in contact with someone when I was looking for a certain disc.

I actually listened to one of the recordings on that website a few weeks ago, Harold Bauer's Schumann -- a sort of Michelangeli avant la lettre I think.

Mark Ainley has his own Facebook page which is well worth subscribing to.

Excellent website, thanks for posting it.  :)

Thank you for the encouraging words! premont, I leaned a lot from your posts on Bach recordings.  My daughter will start learning piano this fall/winter, and I'm thinking about piggy back on her classes and learn piano myself as well. It's a shame there are no widely available harpsichord classes for adults.  :)
